Multiple Commands

Overview

Most object types in ACM have one or more commands that perform specific tasks on demand. ACM provides a way to perform a command against one or more objects that share a common command.

Example: Demand Poll all devices of a specific type.

Send Multiple Commands

The Send Multiple Commands feature is accessible from the Configuration Tab Edit Menu.

Edit→Send Multiple Commands

The Select Object Type dialog will appear. Select the object type to send a command too.

The Send Command To Multiple Devices dialog will appear.

Select Objects

The left pane will list all objects present in the configuration that match the selected type. Individually select objects by clicking on them (hold the Ctrl key to select more than one) or use "Select All" from the menu.

Execute Command

Select the command to send from the listing, provide any optional parameters (may not be present) and click the Execute button. 

This process can be completed for any additional combinations of objects and commands for this type. When completed Close the form.
