Common Commands

Commands

Command	Description	Parameters
Test Communication	When executed, ACM will poll a known OPC item from the device and wait for the response to see if the communication is good.	None
Retrieve meter config during next history poll	Retrieves meter configuration data for all meters during the next history retrieval.	None
Time Sync	Causes a comparison of the date and time in the device to the host date and time. Once compared, the configured rules of the selected time sync object will be applied - including time zone and daylight saving options.	None
Reinitialize	Reinitializes OPC items, rebuilds poll message, and rereads field device configuration.	None
Retrieve History	Requests the retrieval of all enabled archive record types.	None
Reset Hourly Pointer	Clears the hourly retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record.	None
Reset Daily Pointer	Clears the daily retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record. Provide the meter number in parameter one.	None
Reset Minute Pointer	Clears the minute retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record. Provide the meter number in parameter one.	None
Reset Event Pointer	Clears the event retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record.	None
Reset Alarm Pointer	Clears the alarm retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record.	None
Reset Batch Pointer	Clears the batch retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record.	None
Reset Extended Pointer	Clears the extended retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record.	None
Move Hourly Pointer Back	Moves the saved hourly retrieval position to an older record. Enter the number of records to move back.	Record Count
Move Daily Pointer Back	Moves the saved daily retrieval position to an older record. Enter the number of records to move back.	Record Count
Skip Hourly Records	Moves the saved hourly retrieval position forward. Enter the number of records to skip.	Record Count
Skip Daily Records	Moves the saved daily retrieval position forward. Enter the number of records to skip.	Record Count
Document Archive History Point Maps	Write the internal archive history point maps to the server machine file "C:\ProgramData\AutoSol\Communication Manager\7\RocInternalArchiveMapDocumentation.txt"	None
