Diagnostic Toolbar
Overview
The diagnostic toolbar is a configurable visual status indicator for devices and ports.
User Interface
All devices will have a Demand Poll button to allow for quick access. Devices that collect history will also have a Retrieve History button.
Status Block Health Indicator
The Status Block will show a color code for current poll status of the device or port.
Green : Poll Successful
Yellow : Poll Interrupted or Incomplete
Red : Communication Error or Poll Failure
Black : Port Closed\Disable or Not Polled
Diagnostic Tags
The next three diagnostic fields are configurable on the Options Tab on both the device and port objects. They default to ThisHourPctGoodPolls, LastHourPctGoodPolls, and LastPollSuccessTime, however any OPC tags can be assign to these fields. The OPC tags assigned to these fields are added to the list of tags retrieved during a normal demand poll for an object when the object form is open in ACM. The values in the toolbar are automatically updated when a demand poll is completed.
