Protocol Items

The ScanCom protocol implementation supports item names. Items available in the ScanCom device are one of four different types: General, System, FRDM and Hardware.

Hardware items use the .XX/X modifiers to specify the resource parameter and slot number to access. Resource parameters should be converted from HEX to a decimal number. 

Example: HardwareAnalogInput01.16/1 would access HEX parameter 10 on slot 1 for item HardwareAnalogInput01.
