Modbus BP WellControl Archive Field Configuration
Overview
In order to collect cycle logs from the RTU, a Configurable Archive object must be assigned on the Archive Collection tab. The selected Configurable Archive object must have an associated Archive Field Configuration object which defines the format of the cycle log record on the device. Only one Archive Field Configuration object needs to be defined per ACM system as it can be reused by all BP Modbus devices.
Configuration
Create a new Archive Field Configuration object and assign it a meaningful name.

Configure Properties
On the Date/Time tab set the following property values:
- Date/Time Type – Combined
- Base Year – “1970”
- Timestamp Format – “JULIAN”
Edit the Field Configuration and define the record fields shown below in tabular format.
Since ACM does not have pre-defined Field Identifiers for cycle log data, String objects must be created beforehand to use. In the example above, each string begins with “CycleLog –“ for ease of use.
