Common Commands

See Device Object Common Commands for commands that are common to all device types.

Command	Description	Parameters
Test Communication	When executed, ACM will poll a known OPC item from the device and wait for the response to see if the communication is good.	None
Retrieve Meter Config during next History Poll	Retrieves meter configuration data during the next history retrieval.	None
Retrieve History	Requests the retrieval of history records (for all enabled meters).	None
Reset Event Pointer	Clears the event retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record. Provide the meter number in parameter one (if applicable).	None
Reset Hourly Pointer	Clears the hourly retrieval position so retrieval starts at the oldest record. Provide the meter number in parameter one, or leave blank for all meters.	None
Move Event	Moves the saved event retrieval position to an older record.	Record Count
Move Hourly	Moves the saved hourly retrieval position to an older record.	Record Count
