Generating Reports

This page will show how to generate a report and discuss the options available when generating one.

Instructions

From the Reports Tab in the Configuration Client Interface:

  1. Select the desired report to generate in the Available Reports field. If the report has configurable parameters, select the desired values.
  2. Select the View/Output method:
    1. Report View - Opens the report in XtraReports Viewer.
    2. CSV - Exports the report to a saved file in CSV format.
    3. XLS - Exports the report to a saved file in Excel format.
    4. XLSX - Exports the report to a saved file in Excel format.
    5. HTML - Exports the report to a saved file in HTML format.
    6. PDF - Exports the report to a saved file in PDF format.
    7. TEXT - Exports the report to a saved file in text format.
  3. If desired, change the maximum number of records in the report from the default value of 2000 to a preferred number.  A value of 0 (zero) means it is unlimited so the report will contain all the records returned by the report query.  Reports with potentially large numbers of records may take some time to render, during this time the  button will be disabled.
  4. Click the  button to run the selected report.  If report is saved to disk, a window will be opened to allow the file name and location to be selected.
