Nodes

The Node object in the Tree View is used to group all configuration items in an application. It is also used to connect the Edge device to the Autosol App Manager. Right-click and select Properties to configure it.

General Tab

Name

This name for the Edge device.

The name must be unique as it is used to identify the device in the Tree View of the Edge Manager and AUTOSOL App Manager.

Compress MQTT Payload

When enabled, configuration data sent over MQTT will be compressed; otherwise it will be sent in plain text.

It is advised to keep this enabled unless troubleshooting.

Info Tab

No settings are available on this tab. It provides additional information regarding the device you are currently connected to.
