TCP/IP SSL Connection

Overview

The TCP/IP SSL Connection adds a layer of security to the TCP/IP connection.  It releases connections between poll intervals and encrypts and decrypts SSL traffic using a cryptographic key set

Configuration

Once a port has been added to the ACM server, the port must be configured by editing the created object. Configuration may be accomplished using the default Form view.

SSL Tab

The SSL tab allows the use of SSL Keysets to encrypt and decrypt traffic through Host 1 and/or 2.


Select “Use SSL with Host n” for the host(s) that will be using SSL encryption. 

KeySet for Host N

Add Cryptographic Key Set object(s) for the host(s) that require them 

SSL Handshake Timeout

The time to wait in milliseconds for the SSL authentication to complete.  Default = 10.
