Overview

This object is used to translate the source value of an item into the defined alarm state. The Alarm Translator is selected as part of the individual item configuration of the EFM Alarm Configuration object. Each one relates the alarm’s value to an static value (such as ‘Off’  and ‘On’).

Translator Data Records Tab

This tab allows you to establish the Alarm Translator Record Collection where the source values are translated.

Click Edit Configuration to view the configuration. 

Click Add to enter the appropriate number of New Record items.

Click Remove to delete any unwanted New Record items.

Click Tabular Display to view all New Record items at once.

Saving Record Collection Changes

When record editing is complete, Click Close to return to the owning object type. Click the Save button  to save any changes made to the record collection.

Comparison

Default = Equal.  The operation to perform during translation.

RecordId

Name of record in collection.

Source Value

The source value to be translated. 

Translated Value

The field identifier or name. Select the appropriate translated value from the drop down listing.
