Overview

This object is used to define a collection of custom event definitions. It contains entries for user-defined events and their translatorsmap events and values from the device to defined EFM events and values.

Configuration

General Properties

EFM Event Configuration Tab

Click Edit Configuration to Configuration to open the EFM Event Configuration Record Collection window and view the event configuration records

In the EFM Event Configuration Record Collection window:

  • Click Add to add new event configuration record.
  • Click Add Multi to add multiple new event configuration records.
  • Click the up arrow or down arrow to move an event configuration record up or down by one position in the collection.
  • Click Remove to delete

  • an event configuration record.
  • Click Copy to add a copy of the selected event configuration record to the end of the collection.
  • Click Tabular Display to view all New Record items at once.
  • Click Close to return to the EFM Event Configuration tab.

titleSaving Record Collection Changes

When record editing is complete, Click Close to return to the owning object type. Click Once back in the the EFM Event Configuration tab, click the Save button  to save any changes made to the record collection.

The object used to translate the Data Source value of an event record into a defined EFM value.

Click the Image Modified and select the appropriate Event Translator object. See Event Translator for more information. 

Unit Identifier

Default = Unitless. Select the unit of the event value from the Custom Unit selection form.
