The Alias Groups section is only available for devices and can be activated or deactivated via an option in User Preferences. This section shows OPC tags that are in the alias groups assigned to selected above the grid. The alias groups in this drop down are the ones established on the "Options" page of the device. Just like the System Points, once they show up, they will be continuously updated, however no demand poll is invoked. They are added to the list of OPC tags to retrieve on a demand poll.
