Edge ACM Real-Time Polling

Edge ACM provides a convenient and efficient way to frequently transmit data with low overhead. When deployed in the field, Edge ACM acts as a local polling engine, handling the poll-response between itself and the device as quick as 50 milliseconds.

Edge ACM Key Features

  • Edge ACM is portable and light enough to fit onto most edge computing devices

  • Uses standard Sparkplug B message formatting

  • Supports communication with multiple protocols simultaneously

  • Supports communication with multiple end-devices simultaneously

  • Onboard NTP allows for GPS accurate time-syncing

  • Locally stores data when connection is interrupted. Stored data is sent when connection is re-established

  • MQTT uses up to 90% less bandwidth than traditional poll-response 0

  • Allows edge applications to run using RTU or PLC data

  • Can prioritize data flows between multiple masters for serial networks

  • Edge ACM brings MQTT to traditional OPC systems

  • Hardware agnostic-let us know one what platform you need Edge!

Edge ACM Real-Time Native Protocols

Edge ACM supports the following Real-Time Native Protocols

  • ABB Totalflow

  • ROC

  • Modbus

  • ControlLogix

Modbus Register Sets

Edge ACM functionality can be expanded by developing additional interfaces with any Modbus device. Specific Modbus register sets currently provided with the Edge ACM software are:

  • AutoPILOT Pro

  • Daniels ASCII

  • Daniels RTU

  • Enron

  • Flow Automation

  • Modbus ASCII

  • Modbus RTU

  • OMNI

  • ROC

ROC Series Supported

The following ROC Series are supported by Edge ACM:

  • Floboss 100 Series & FBx

  • Floboss 503

  • Floboss 504

  • REGFLO

  • ROC 300 ROCPAC

  • ROC 300 FLASHPAC
