Enable Time Synchronization
...
Each protocol that is able to perform a time sync, reads the time from device, compares to host time (converting to the same time zone if necessary), then uses the Time Synchronization object rules to determine if a time sync should be done.
Click to select or create the Time Sync Object assigned to this device. See the Time Synchronization section for more details.
Info |
---|
If a protocol can set the time in the device but not read it, the Time Synchronization rules will not be used and a time sync can be performed every time. |
Time Synchronization Interval
Select the desired Time Synchronization Interval relating to the Schedule object assigned on the Connection tab. Time Synchronization checks occur on the frequency of this interval.
Time Synchronization Priority
- Low. Queues up with other Low priority items.
- Medium (Default). Interrupts Low priority items, and queues up with other Medium priority items.
- High. Interrupts Medium and Low priority items, and queues up with other High priority items.
Timezone
Specifies the time zone the device's clock uses. This is used to convert device time to the host time zone for comparison when performing a time sync. Default = UTC-06:00 Central Time (US & Canada).
