Tunnel command failed with error response "Permission denied (user permissions)."
This error usually means that the DNP3 port of the device that ACM is connecting to has the "Require Login" option checked in Field Tools. It must be unchecked for ACM to be able to read object parameters using tunnel commands. To fix this problem:
Start Field Tools and connect to the device.
Go to the Configure tab and select Communications.
Select the port that ACM will be connected to from the dropdown list on the upper left.
Click the DNP3 button in the Properties box towards the lower right of the screen.
Uncheck the Require Login option.
In older versions of Field Tools, there’s no DNP3 button.
Instead, there’s a DNP3 tab that contains the Require Login option.
