This however, does not apply the install, until you restart that target device. The node will get a red icon indicating that a restart is required.

You will also see some information about updates and status on the top right of this page. This will show if a restart is required for the node that you’re currently browsing in your web browser, and the last update for it.

In order to restart the node, right-click it in the explorer, and press Restart Node.

The node will be sent a command to restart completely.

The webserver, any running applications, and any operations will be shutdown. You will lose all communication with that instance of Edge ACM for several minutes. |
Once the node restarts, you will be able to use your upgraded/installed software modules and continue with your operations. The restart will bring up any previously running applications.

If the previous version of a module was running, and the new version has some configuration changes, you might not see your module start after this restart. You will need to go into App Manager and configure any changes needed. |
