Mercury Upload Database Format

Overview

Base, Device, General Connection Settings, Persistent Data, Primary Connection, and Secondary Connection properties are common to all ACM device objects.

Properties with an asterisk (*) are required properties and must be configured to ensure proper operation.

Events

Field NameDescription
DateThe date of the record in YYYY/MM/DD format.
TimeThe time of the record (HHMMSS where HH = Hour, MM = Minute and SS = Second).
Ev#Event number (range = 00000 – 32767).
UsIdEvent log user ID (range = 000 – 999).
ItemThe item # to be read (3 ASCII-coded decimal digits. Use zero fill to always provide 3 digits).
As_FoundItem value before change (fixed-length field of 8 ASCII characters for the numbers 0 – 9, a space, a decimal point, or a minus sign).
As_LeftItem value after change (fixed-length field of 8 ASCII characters for the numbers 0 – 9, a space, a decimal point, or a minus sign).
Cal_UnitsUnits of measure for pressure and temperature (for temperature item, 0 = Deg F, 1 = Deg C, 2 = Deg R, 3 = Deg K).
TypeEvent type. Range = 0 – 9 (0 = changed item, 1 = calibration, 2 = download event logger, 3 = shutdown, 4 = AGA8 download, 5 – 9 = not assigned).

Alarms

Field NameDescription
DateThe date of the record in YYYY/MM/DD format.
TimeThe time of the record (HHMMSS where HH = Hour, MM = Minute and SS = Second).
Alarm_TypeAlarm type (0 = alarm activated, 1 = alarm acknowledge/reset).
ItemThe item # to be read (3 ASCII-coded decimal digits. Use zero fill to always provide 3 digits).
Alarm_ValueThe value of the item causing the alarm (fixed-length field of 8 ASCII characters for the numbers 0 – 9, a space, a decimal point, or a minus sign).
Alarm_LimitLimit value exceeded causing the alarm (fixed-length field of 8 ASCII characters for the numbers 0 – 9, a space, a decimal point, or a minus sign).

Audit Trail

Field NameDescription
DateThe date of the record in YYYY/MM/DD format.
TimeThe time of the record (HHMMSS where HH = Hour, MM = Minute and SS = Second).
<Item0> thru <Item9>Value of selected items #1 - #10 (up to 8 ASCII characters for the numbers 0 – 9, a space, a decimal point, or a minus sign). The column heading will be the name of the item.
Log_TriggerThe trigger type & alarm information for a single audit trail record (bit-coded in 2 or 3 bytes)
SiteIDSiteID 1 of Mercury Device
