Kimray Configuration

Device Tab

RTU Address

Default = 1.

Group Address

Default = Not selected. Select this to allow the RTU group address to be used and enter the appropriate group address.

Device Wakeup

Default = Not selected. Select this to require the device to be waken before regular communication.  This feature is used mostly when the device is setup for power saving mode.

Device Wakeup Period

Default = 10. The period of time in seconds to allow for the device to respond to a wake up request.

Device Wakeup Timeout

Default = 50. Retry time out on the device wake up message.

Device Trend Number

Default = 1. Total number of trends configured in the device including both hourly and daily trends.

Enable Device Configuration Read

Default = Not selected. Enable this option to allow device configuration 1 and 2 to be retrieved on interval defined.

Device Configuration Read Interval

Default = Interval 10. When the defined interval is due, device configuration 1 and 2 will be set to be retrieved on the next polling of base poll items.

Pressure type in gauge instead of absolute

Default = Not selected.

Roundup to zero seconds on contract hour record

Default = Not selected.

Archive Collection Tab

Analog/Production/CTD/Trend Interval

Select the desired Interval relating to the Schedule object assigned on the Connection tab.

Analog/Production/CTD/Trend Priority

  • Low. Queues up with other Low priority items.
  • Medium (Default). Interrupts Low priority items, and queues up with other Medium priority items.
  • High. Interrupts Medium and Low priority items, and queues up with other High priority items.

Analog Tab

Collect Analog

Default = Not selected. Select this to configure archive and meter for collection.

Analog Archive

Click  to select or create an Archive Limits. See the Archive Limits section for more details.

Analog Meter

Click  to select or create the Meter Object assigned to meter 1. See the Meter section for more details.

Production Tab

Collect Production Meter Objects

Default = Not selected. Select to configure the archive and the meter for collection.

Production Archive

Click  to select or create an Archive Limits. See the Archive Limits section for more details.

Production Meter 1-8

Click  to select or create the Meter Object assigned to the production meter. See the Meter section for more details.

CTD (Custody Transfer Data) History Tab

Meter CTD History Settings

Meter 1-32. Select the meter run to configure.

CTD History Type

  • No CTD History type enabled (Default).
  • All CTD History type enabled.
  • All CTD History type enabled except Event.

Meter CTD Object

Click  to select or create the Meter Object assigned to this meter run number. See the Meter section for more details.

Daily/Event/Hourly Archive

Click  to select or create an Archive Limits. See the Archive Limits section for more details.

Meter CTD Record Option

  • All records without a sum of extension.
  • All records with a sum of extension.
  • Closed records without sum of extension.
  • Closed records with sum of extension (Default).

Daily/Hourly Trends Tab

The Daily and Hourly Trend tabs are similar.

Trend 1-48 Daily/Hourly Enabled

Default = Not selected. Enable to configure collection.

Trend Meter

Click  to select or create the Meter Object assigned to trend collection. See the Meter section for more details.

Trend Number

The trend record number for trend daily/hourly retrieval. Note, the trend record number is 0 based.

Trend Archive

Click  to select or create an Archive Limits. See the Archive Limits section for more details.
