Overview
The Modbus Alien 2 device object in AutoSol Communication Manager® (ACM) can communicate with Modbus ALiEn2® devices or any device that supports the Modbus Alien 2 protocol. This user guide only covers specific information unique to Modbus Alien 2 devices from real-time to history collection.
Supported Devices
The Modbus Alien 2 protocol module can communicate with ALiEn2® Modbus devices using the Modbus protocol. Devices and emulators that use the Alien 2 Modbus protocol are also supported.
Supported Features
The Modbus Alien 2 protocol module supports reading and writing to all valid items, using the native protocol (Modbus).
